Toro Taxes, a franchisor with over 100 stores, was struggling to acquire and retain clients using email and mailed letters that were costly, time‑consuming and ineffective—appointments were being missed, engagement and satisfaction were slipping, and returned mail and unread emails mounted. Toro Taxes turned to Textellent for a texting solution that would give corporate control of messaging while enabling store-level, personalized outreach.

Textellent implemented a rule-driven, store-branded texting platform (piloted across 22 stores for 90 days) that sent 79,000 one‑to‑one, personalized messages and achieved an 18% response rate; appointment reminders, automated thank‑yous, holiday and birthday texts, and corporate monitoring reduced administrative work and no‑shows and allowed staff to focus on service. Textellent’s system is now being rolled out to the remaining stores, driving measurable engagement improvements for Toro Taxes.
