Texas Tech University Student Business Services Communicates Important Billing Information

Texas Tech University Student Business Services, which manages billing, waivers and exemptions for a growing campus of more than 30,000 students, needed a faster, more reliable way to communicate important payment and cancellation notices than email and message board posts. The department required a method to reach large groups quickly with consistent, targeted messages to reduce missed deadlines and confusion.

They implemented Call-Em-All’s automated voice broadcasting for the summer 2012 terms to notify students of payment deadlines and class cancellations. The service allowed targeted outreach, real-time reporting on who answered (and which numbers may be incorrect), and produced some of the lowest summer cancellation numbers on record, prompting plans to expand use for other student communications.
