Wistia, a Cambridge-based video-hosting platform that helps thousands of companies with sales and marketing, faced growing pains as its team expanded to roughly 100 employees. Office Manager Kelsey Miller found that onboarding and internal knowledge sharing became increasingly difficult: disparate tools (Slack/HipChat, a custom wiki, Dropbox, Google Drive) caused version-control issues and made it hard for employees to find up-to-date policies and processes. To create a single source of truth, Wistia turned to Tettra and its team knowledge base.

Wistia implemented Tettra in 2016 as the central repository for evergreen information, connecting Tettra to relevant Slack channels so updates push notifications and employees can search Tettra via a Slack slash command. The integration drives more than 100 searches per month, reduces repetitive questions, improves version control, and saves Kelsey and the broader team time—helping Wistia scale operations and preserve its culture as it grows.
