Leiden University Works with TestReach to Transform Assessment for Professional Online Students

The Centre for Innovation at Leiden University sought a secure, flexible way to deliver exams for its Special Private Online Courses (starting with Futurelab) so busy international professionals could complete assessments remotely. They needed a supplier that provided integral remote invigilation, EU data storage, compatibility with corporate firewalls, and the ability to run as a stand‑alone pilot or integrate with the university LMS — and selected TestReach to meet these requirements.

TestReach implemented its online assessment platform with live remote invigilation, secure EU data storage, lockdown browser functionality, and access to required biomedical tools while respecting corporate firewalls. During the pilot TestReach detected and recorded cheating attempts, the subsequent real exam ran successfully, and TestReach was adopted as the standard course assessment method — enabling flexible scheduling for candidates (including 40% working in pharma with strict firewalls) and faster rollouts across courses.
