Delivering Flexible, Convenient and Secure Exams to JIB-PMES Carded Plumbing Professionals with TestReach Remote Proctoring

JIB-PMES, the Joint Industry Board for Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering Services, needed a more convenient way for plumbing and mechanical engineering operatives to take the Health, Safety & Environment test required for a JIB-PMES CSCS card. Many candidates found it difficult to travel to physical test centres, so they wanted an online exam option that could be taken from home or an employer’s office. TestReach provided the remote proctoring and online assessment platform to support this need.

TestReach implemented a secure, human-led remotely proctored exam solution with integrated booking and payment via the JIB-PMES website, a question bank with detailed reporting, and LOFT-based randomised test papers. The launch was successful, with candidate numbers higher than expected and demand continuing to grow.
