A test IO Case Study
EatStreet, the Madison-based on-demand food ordering and delivery company, needed a better way to handle QA as its small engineering team grew and manual testing became a bottleneck. Without a formal QA process, even other departments were pulled into testing, and coverage across devices and browsers was limited. EatStreet turned to test IO for crowdtesting of its web and mobile web products, including functional, content/visual, and usability testing.
With test IO, EatStreet was able to run weekend and ad hoc tests, access a much wider range of real devices and browsers, and send bugs directly into Jira for streamlined triage and follow-up. The result was faster, more comprehensive pre-release testing and greater confidence in quality; Kyle Mundt noted that they were able to achieve a degree of test coverage they hadn’t reached before, while filling device coverage gaps in a matter of hours.
