Marston’s - Customer Case Study

Marston’s, a major British pub operator with around 1,400 venues and roughly 9,700 employees, faced the hospitality sector’s typical challenges: high turnover, a dispersed hourly workforce without corporate devices, fragmented recognition practices, and limited visibility from their previous provider. To address this, Marston’s turned to Terryberry for a modern employee recognition and benefits platform, including a mobile app, that could be accessed instantly on staff phones and embedded into daily operations.

Terryberry implemented a unified recognition lifecycle and integrated benefits app offering instant savings and centralised visibility. The impact was rapid: within four weeks nearly 48% of employees had registered, there were over 21,000 logins, more than 1,300 recognitions sent (2,800+ received), nearly 3,000 individual reactions (48,000+ total reactions), and over 23 million points attributed—demonstrating strong adoption, increased peer-to-peer recognition, and measurable engagement improvements driven by Terryberry.
