Conservation Patagonia and Round River Conservation Studies Preserve Patagonia National Park with TerraGo

Round River Conservation Studies partnered with Conservacion Patagonica to build a collaborative mapping platform for baseline data on plants and wildlife in Patagonia. The team needed a system that could work in a low-connectivity field environment and support ongoing updates from scientists, park staff, and other collaborators. TerraGo helped provide the GeoPDF mapping tools used for this effort.

Using TerraGo’s customizable GeoPDF® maps and GeoPDF Toolbar®, Round River could add point, line, and polygon data, along with photos, text, and other media, directly to map locations. The result was a shared, easy-to-use information base for hundreds of survey sites and a central repository for geospatial data that improved collaboration and sharing across the project.
