Ameresco Canada faced the challenge of delivering a large-scale streetlight conversion project efficiently, including the design, planning, and installation of more than 10,000 smart street lights. To support this work, Ameresco used TerraGo’s cloud-based deployment system along with Itron’s Streetlight.Vision central management system.

TerraGo enabled field crews to commission network nodes and lights directly from iPads, syncing them with the Streetlight.Vision platform in the command center. This reduced delays and eliminated errors, and TerraGo StreetlightOps was also adopted by Ameresco for the City of Chicago smart streetlight program.
