University of Northern Colorado centralizes 250 international agreements with Terra Dotta

The University of Northern Colorado's Center for International Education faced a disjointed and manual process for managing its 250 international agreements. Relying on emails, SharePoint, and Excel led to lost approvals and a decentralized database, making it nearly impossible to track the agreement lifecycle. To address this challenge, the university turned to vendor Terra Dotta and implemented its Agreements module.

With the Terra Dotta solution, UNC centralized all international agreements into a single digital repository. The system streamlined the approval process by allowing multiple units to approve directly within the platform, eliminating lost email records. Terra Dotta also provided automatic notifications for expiring agreements and increased visibility through an integrated global map. The implementation has created a reliable, auditable process and eliminated the risk of approvals falling through the cracks.
