The University of Florida needed a better way to support more than 6,000 international students, scholars, and exchange visitors. Its international team was managing records with paper-based processes and manual data entry, while the existing software was getting more expensive and less functional, so it moved to Terra Dotta.

With Terra Dotta’s ISSS solution, UF shifted to online document submission, automated workflows, and SEVIS integration through RTI Connect. The team eliminated a part-time data entry role, reduced duplicate updates and data discrepancies, and was able to process more cases in less time; during OPT periods, advisors could handle 10 or more cases within a few hours instead of only six to 10 cases in a typical day of full in-person appointments.
