SUNY New Paltz Takes Control of Their Data with Terra Dotta

SUNY New Paltz, a university in the Hudson River Valley with more than 7,700 students and more than 400 international students, needed a better way to manage visa and academic compliance. Its previous international student management system created bad data, integration problems, scattered information, and extra double data entry, which wasted staff time.

SUNY New Paltz moved to Terra Dotta’s ISSS solution, with RTI Connect helping the team log in to SEVIS RTI and keep records consistent across systems. The university also used Terra Dotta to let students submit documents online, receive deadline alerts, and support remote work during the pandemic. The system was implemented in three months and gave staff more reliable data, easier access to student information, and less time spent on inefficient tasks.
