Clark University transforming ISSS application and enrollment with terra dotta

Clark University, founded in 1887 in Worcester, Massachusetts, needed a better way to manage international student services as enrollment grew and staff changed. Internal support for a batch processing application and enrollment system had taken years to build, and the university needed an automated system to improve service levels and stay compliant with government requirements.

Clark University implemented Terra Dotta’s ISSS solution to centralize and automate its international student processes. Just two months in, reporting and analytics were “250 zillion times” easier, and the school processed nearly 800 I-20s with a staff of four while also meeting a goal to process all I-20 requests for graduate admissions within five business days. Terra Dotta also helped Clark reduce backend work, improve student visibility through a “one-stop-shop ISSS portal,” and expand into study abroad, travel registry, and agreements management.
