Case Western Reserve needed a better way to manage its outbound and inbound students

Case Western Reserve University needed a better way to manage its outbound and inbound students. Its study abroad process was paper-based, and international student records were tracked in overflowing filing cabinets, making it difficult to notify students quickly, manage paperwork, and support students who were abroad or away from campus. Case Western Reserve turned to Terra Dotta for study abroad and international student services.

With Terra Dotta Study Abroad and Terra Dotta ISSS, Case Western Reserve moved requests online, added templates and automatic notifications, and used tools such as Locator Search and Query Watch to manage communications and track documents. The university said the study abroad program grew from a handful of students to 400 each year, and the time to create new student I-20s was cut in half.
