Springer Nature, a major academic publisher, sought a solution for its division Bohn Stafleu van Loghum (BSL) to handle customer authentication and authorization for its online platform, "MyBSL." The company needed to securely manage user access to content while also gathering essential management information on platform usage. They turned to vendor Ternair and its Ternair Marketing Cloud to address this challenge.

The implemented solution used Ternair Marketing Cloud to create a single central data platform. This platform connected backend customer data to the front-end via web services, enabling real-time authentication, authorization, and user profiling. As a result, BSL can now quickly and efficiently unlock shielded content for registered users. The flexible and efficient system is now used by several Springer Nature business units, allowing marketers to manage multi-channel campaigns without needing technical knowledge.
