Jacobs implemented VMware Horizon View VDI and Teradici PCoIP Hardware Accelerator cards to offload PCoIP encoding from server CPUs, delivering immediate, measurable improvements in video quality and responsive, pixel-only remote viewing (files remain in the data center). The solution met virtualization goals, provided forensic-grade, AES‑encrypted access across devices, enabled mobile incident response, and is being considered for broader airport deployment.
