STC, a major telecommunications, media, and entertainment company in Saudi Arabia, faced the challenge of managing an explosion of customer data, with 20 petabytes generated daily. This massive volume of structured and unstructured data from services like stcTV and stcPay made it difficult to gain unified insights to improve customer experiences and support the company's digital transformation goals. To address this, STC partnered with Teradata.

Using Teradata Vantage and ClearScape Analytics, STC integrated over 30 data sources into a single platform to harmonize its data. This solution enabled advanced analytics and AI, including customer segmentation, churn prediction, and personalized marketing campaigns. Teradata's platform also supported generative AI initiatives, improving call center operations with an AI chatbot and driving increased customer engagement. The results included improved key metrics like average revenue per user (ARPU) and reduced churn rates.
