Sabre Holdings is a global travel-technology company that powers booking and distribution for airlines, hotels, car and rail providers, travel agencies and consumers through businesses like Sabre Travel Network and Travelocity. Faced with enormous volumes of transactional data from reservations and ticketing, Sabre needed to consolidate many data sources into a single, enterprise-wide view and deliver that intelligence to customers via intuitive, drillable dashboards and mobile apps with fast, frequent updates.

Working with Teradata and IBM, Sabre built an Enterprise Travel Data Warehouse on Teradata and implemented IBM Cognos for external and internal business intelligence. The solution enabled rapid, integrated access to vast data sets, accelerated time to market, and supported innovative offerings beyond traditional reservation systems—driving revenue and customer growth while improving service and value for travelers.
