Think Big Analytics partnered with a government revenue board in the Ministry of Finance on the Tax Power Data Project to increase compliance, broaden the tax base and drive revenue. The board’s challenges were to unify all available data to better understand taxpayers, detect and anticipate compliance issues, identify income from digital economic activity, and uncover under‑reported GST.

Think Big deployed Kylo to accelerate a data lake, delivered Data Lake Foundation and Data Engineering services, and used Teradata Aster on Hadoop alongside NiFi, Spark and MySQL to run 14 analytic use cases and advanced data science. The solution enabled multi‑genre analytics, increased tax collection, improved identification of non‑compliance cases, and reduced administrative and operational costs.
