Technology Incubator Ignites Small Business Startups With Cloud-Based Wireless System

The Syracuse Technology Garden, a business incubator in Syracuse, N.Y., was struggling with aging IT infrastructure, limited staff resources, and poor visibility into how tenants and guests were using its shared network. As more startups brought in multiple devices and demanded reliable connectivity, the organization needed a more cohesive, scalable wireless and network environment. TERACAI helped address these challenges with Cisco switching, security, and Meraki wireless technology.

TERACAI rebuilt the Tech Garden’s intranet and public/private wireless networks, installing Cisco 2960-S and 3750-X switches, Cisco ASA 5515-X security appliances, and Cisco Meraki MR16 access points managed through the cloud. The new solution gave staff real-time network monitoring, bandwidth control, better security, and easier management without dedicated IT personnel. As a result, the Tech Garden improved reliability, boosted efficiency, and gained the scalability needed to support future growth, including expansion plans and more advanced services like teleconferencing.
