Insurance and risk management firm unlocks full potential of its UC and videoconferencing investments

OneGroup, a risk management and insurance firm with more than 170 employees and 17 locations across the Northeast, struggled to make the most of its Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco TelePresence investment after an acquisition expanded its footprint. The company lacked training and proper support, had a poorly configured videoconferencing environment, and could only run internal site-to-site video calls, which limited adoption and frustrated users.

TERACAI stepped in to reconfigure the TelePresence system with a new codec, add Cisco WebEx Cloud for meetings with outside customers, improve the UC naming convention, and train staff on using the technology. As a result, OneGroup was able to hold video sessions with external customers and saw a noticeable increase in videoconferencing usage and overall user satisfaction, with TERACAI becoming a long-term extension of the team.
