Generations Bank Enhances Customer Experience and Increases Efficiency With Video Technology

Generations Bank, a financial services company based in Seneca Falls, N.Y., had grown to 11 locations and needed a better way to connect branch teams without increasing travel time and costs. The bank also wanted to extend high-quality customer service to a new rural office in Farmington, where staffing limitations made it difficult to have every specialist on-site. TERACAI helped address these communication and collaboration challenges with Cisco TelePresence and unified communications technology.

TERACAI implemented Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco TelePresence EX60 and SX20 systems, a Cisco MCU 5310, and touchpad controllers to create a more connected, easy-to-use video collaboration environment. The result was improved internal communication, reduced travel, and a better customer experience, including the ability to connect customers to an insurance professional quickly from any branch. Generations Bank reported that the solution made meetings more efficient, allowed staff to work more flexibly, and supported its smart office vision with simple, three-click access to remote experts.
