Cyber Security Provider Maximizes Efficiency and Scalability With Virtualized Environment

Assured Information Security, Inc. (AIS), a cyber and information security provider with offices across several states, needed to modernize an IT environment that was overheating, difficult to manage across remote locations, and not scalable for future growth. AIS worked with TERACAI to plan a new infrastructure, including virtualization technologies and hardware such as Dell PowerEdge, Dell PowerConnect, Dell EqualLogic storage, VMware, and Liquidware Labs tools.

TERACAI implemented a virtual desktop infrastructure and centralized virtualized network that replaced most physical systems, allowing AIS to operate about 95% virtualized. The result was improved scalability for remote offices, easier backup and troubleshooting, lower hardware and maintenance costs, and the ability to create new internal services. TERACAI helped AIS bring all locations under one corporate umbrella while preparing the company for future expansion.
