Nando's Singapore, which operates eight restaurants, was struggling with a decentralised forecasting process that left managers creating static or availability-driven schedules and limited their ability to optimise labour. To address this, they engaged Tenzo and its AI-based sales forecasting and labour-planning mobile app to give Patraos simple, accurate forecasts they could build schedules around.
Tenzo ran a three-month pilot across four locations, providing machine-learning forecasts combined with manager adjustments, visual labour-planner charts, transparency sessions and lightweight adoption incentives. The Tenzo solution improved labour productivity by 15% and boosted sales forecast accuracy by 25% (rising to 30% when managers input adjustments), reducing over- and under-staffing and simplifying day-to-day operations.
