iWatt, a semiconductor company later acquired by Dialog Semiconductor, needed to integrate its finance and operations data after the acquisition so Dialog could use SAP as the central ERP system. The challenge was to move key transaction details from Tensoft FSM and RDM/D into SAP Financials, replacing a process where iWatt had only uploaded month-end trial balances into SAP with little supporting detail.

Tensoft implemented Tensoft On Demand Integration to link FSM and RDM/D with SAP, automating the flow of manufacturing financial results and related GL, AR, and AP transactions. The result was that SAP now contains required transaction detail, users can see transactions throughout the month instead of waiting for month-end, and iWatt gained better visibility, reconciliation, and financial control while keeping most of the close process unchanged.
