Oxfam-Québec Turns to Tenrox for Project Portfolio Management of Global Initiatives

Oxfam‑Québec, a Montreal‑based international non‑profit working in 20 countries with fewer than 400 staff and 13 partner agencies, needed to replace a patchwork of databases, spreadsheets and emailed files with a single online system to manage project approvals, timesheets, funding disbursements and expense tracking. Oxfam implemented Tenrox Project Workforce Management for its workflow orientation, adaptability and bilingual support, with customizations including a manual monthly exchange‑rate override and a connector to its Sage Accpac accounting system. The result is a centralized, organization‑wide platform for project, time and expense management with real‑time administrative reviews, added workflow features (notes, attachments, printing) and ongoing enhancements; Oxfam plans to expand Tenrox to handle all project document and knowledge management.
