NPS Group, a UK property services organization with 2,500+ employees and 30+ offices, needed to consolidate its IT infrastructure without worsening already slow application performance. As the company grew rapidly and relied on more than 115 applications, it looked to Teneo for help with WAN optimization, evaluating solutions such as Cisco WAAS, Blue Coat, and Riverbed SteelHead.

Teneo recommended and deployed Riverbed SteelHead WAN optimization appliances across main sites and four data centers. The result was dramatically faster application performance, with improvements of 10–15 times on average and up to 35 times in some cases, plus an estimated £600K in bandwidth savings.
