Morgan Sindall, a UK construction and regeneration group, needed a more flexible and effective network infrastructure to support acquisitions, centralize data, and avoid expensive bandwidth upgrades. Teneo recommended Riverbed WAN Optimization, including Riverbed SteelHead appliances, to help improve application performance and make data centralization feasible across its decentralized organization.

Teneo deployed SteelHead appliances across Morgan Sindall offices and data centers, later adding managed WAN optimization services to monitor and optimize performance. The solution reduced data traffic by around 80%, cut large CAD file transfers from up to 30 minutes to seconds, improved email and login performance, and helped Morgan Sindall avoid unnecessary bandwidth increases while reducing server and maintenance costs.
