Community Alternatives, Inc. (CAI), a provider of Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services in Western Pennsylvania, faced a challenge with slow clinical documentation that delayed their billing process. They partnered with the vendor TenEleven to address this issue and implement a solution using the eCR™ platform to speed up their workflow.
TenEleven implemented a mobile solution for CAI that entirely eliminated the "Car-Float," which was the time notes spent idle in providers' cars. This allowed progress notes to be submitted collaboratively during visits, leading to a 50% reduction in the time between a service visit and billing. According to CAI's Chief Operating Officer, the solution also substantially improved the quality of treatment and allowed clinical staff to focus more on patient care.
