Case Study: Revest Finance cuts debugging time and speeds governance with Tenderly

A Tenderly Case Study

Preview of the Revest Finance Case Study

How Revest Finance Used Tenderly to Implement Improved DevSecOps

Revest Finance, a DeFi protocol known for its Financial Non-Fungible Tokens (FNFTs), faced major challenges around smart contract forensics, transaction debugging, slow testing cycles, and complex governance implementation. After a $2M exploit and ongoing issues testing oracles and governance workflows, the team needed a better way to simulate and debug contracts without relying on slow, unreliable testnets. They turned to Tenderly’s development platform, including its Simulator and Debugger.

With Tenderly, Revest Finance was able to inspect execution traces, pinpoint failures, simulate governance actions, and test contract changes without risk or real-money deployment. Tenderly cut oracle debugging and testing time from three days to hours, saved about half an hour on every governance action, improved code quality and security, and helped Revest onboard more users by streamlining development and testing.
