National Conference of CPA Practitioners streamlines member management for 2 million users with Tendenci

The National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP) faced challenges with its legacy, highly customized proprietary membership management software, IMPAK. The organization needed to replace this system to address cumbersome event setup, non-intuitive registration, and inaccurate reporting. NCCPAP partnered with Tendenci to transition to its open-source AMS (association management system) to gain flexibility and improved functionality.

Tendenci implemented a dynamic membership website featuring a new nested event structure for conferences, integrations with HigherLogic communities and Zoom, and a Stripe Connect payment environment. The solution streamlined event registration and digital check-in, introduced a system for awarding continuing education units, and enabled accurate reporting. As a result, Tendenci empowered NCCPAP with enhanced automation, reduced manual tasks, and a significantly improved member experience.
