A Tenable Networks Case Study
ME Bank, a retail bank wholly owned by Australia’s industry super funds, needed a robust, low-impact way to maintain compliance with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks and produce reader-friendly audit reports for IT and management. The bank also required an agent-less solution to avoid taxing existing servers and wanted good return on investment.
ME Bank implemented Tenable SecurityCenter (with Nessus, Tenable Passive Vulnerability Scanner, and Tenable Log Correlation Engine) via an authorized reseller. The centralized, web-based platform provided CIS-certified audit templates, customizable reporting and role-based analysis, and a scalable, agent-less architecture—enabling the bank to meet CIS compliance objectives while protecting network performance and improving visibility for decision makers.
