Case Study: KLab (mobile game developer) achieves low-load, cloud-based vulnerability management and full asset visibility with Tenable Networks (Tenable.io)

A Tenable Networks Case Study

KLab - Customer Case Study

KLab K.K., a Tokyo-based developer of popular mobile games with about 553 employees, needed a reliable way to demonstrate robust vulnerability countermeasures to international game publishers and partners. Facing requests for proof of security and needing visibility into internal and cloud assets (including management ports like iDRAC/iLO and frequently changing EC2 instances), KLab wanted a solution that delivered daily vulnerability updates without the overhead of on-prem management.

After a trial, KLab adopted Tenable.io’s cloud-based vulnerability management to continuously discover and visualize assets and hidden vulnerabilities—including firmware management interfaces and embedded middleware (e.g., Log4j exposures). The platform’s Cyber Exposure News Feed and Frictionless Assessment for EC2 spot use improved situational awareness and cost efficiency, reduced the number of vulnerable assets, cut maintenance man-hours, and made it easier to report remediation status to partners.
