How Lagardère’s Small Entities Protect Their Active Directory Infrastructures With Limited Resources

Lagardère is a global media and retail group operating in about 40 countries across publishing, travel retail, press, audiovisual, digital advertising and sports & entertainment. With many small, disparate subsidiaries and varying IT maturity, the company needed a consistent, low-overhead way to secure hundreds of Active Directory environments—a task made difficult by limited local IT resources and the high cost and expertise required for AD security.

Lagardère deployed Tenable.ad as a turnkey, remote‑enclave solution—one console per perimeter—allowing rapid three‑day installs and cloud platforms for each entity. The autonomous service learns each AD environment, integrates with SIEM, reduces false positives by analyzing replication rather than noisy log feeds, and only alerts when real issues are detected. The rollout now covers 100+ AD domains and ~288,886 users across 40 countries, delivering enterprise‑grade AD security to small subsidiaries without increasing SOC workload or costs.
