Nike partnered with Ten Thousand Coffees (10KC) to evolve its mentorship program from an informal, decentralized effort into a more centralized, business-centered initiative. The company wanted to support its DEI goals by increasing representation of women and racial and ethnic minorities in leadership, while also creating more visibility and career development opportunities for employees.

Ten Thousand Coffees helped Nike build and scale the program using its SmartMatch algorithm, custom curriculum, structured conversation guides, and participant surveys. The solution paired mentors and mentees more effectively and supported a nine-month mentorship experience, which received strong reviews from participants and was praised for helping employees connect, share experiences, and access career development opportunities.
