The Salem Group Leverages Productivity Analysis to Increase Efficiency and Streamline Operations

The Salem Group, an independent staffing and workforce management company based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, had been a TempWorks Software client since 2014 but needed help improving internal processes and using the system more effectively. With 42 users, about 6,000 active temporary employees, and roughly 700 checks cut each week, the company turned to TempWorks Software for a productivity analysis to simplify operations and better understand the platform.

TempWorks Software conducted an on-site review and provided recommendations to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. As a result, The Salem Group reduced 400 user roles in WebCenter to 12, began consolidating 1,200 interest codes toward a target of 400 active codes, and aimed to cut 30 performance codes down to seven, while also working on new integrations for commissions and Equifax WOTC. The company reported improved internal processes and said the analysis was invaluable.
