A Temporal Technologies Case Study
Attentive, a high-tech martech company, needed a more flexible way to run complex workflows across teams as its use of the Temporal platform grew. Their self-hosted Temporal Server became difficult and costly to maintain, especially as they outgrew a domain-specific, journey-focused automation system and wanted to write workflows as code instead of learning a DSL.
Temporal Technologies helped Attentive migrate from self-hosted infrastructure to Temporal Cloud using Temporal’s migration service. The move reduced operational burden, improved reliability and observability, and delivered an estimated $30,000 per month in cost savings, while enabling a smooth, zero-downtime migration with no data loss.
