Nozomi Networks needed to monitor and secure remote industrial sites, like water treatment facilities and oil rigs, but faced challenges. Deploying threat analysis at each location was not feasible, and sending traffic to a central system was not secure. They partnered with Tempered and its Airwall solution to address these visibility and security gaps.

Tempered implemented its Airwall to create secure, encrypted tunnels from remote sites, allowing traffic to be safely mirrored to Nozomi's Guardian analytics platform. This integration enabled automated threat detection and rapid response; when anomalies are found, Guardian can trigger Airwall to instantly isolate compromised devices. The solution provided Nozomi Networks and their joint customers with comprehensive, secure visibility and automated policy enforcement, significantly improving threat response and reducing the attack surface across critical infrastructure.
