Breaks new ground by taking Temenos to the cloud

Baxter Credit Union (BCU) wanted to improve the financial well-being of its 320,630 members by delivering more personalized services, faster lending, and a more intuitive online experience. In 2016, the credit union also needed to upgrade Temenos digital banking from version 10.31.20 to 15.01.47 across its Collection, Loan Origination, and Service modules, while taking the system to the cloud for the first time.

Temenos worked with BCU to move the digital banking modules to Microsoft Azure, completing extensive security testing, environment setup, and a phased upgrade over nine months. BCU went live in March 2017 with no unplanned service interruption, and the Temenos solution delivered stronger data protection, on-demand scalability, better disaster recovery, lower IT overhead, and faster lending decisions through access to the latest digital banking capabilities.
