Royal Bank of Canada faced the challenge of educating, involving and turning 79,000 employees in more than 50 countries into ambassadors for its Blue Water program ahead of its second annual Blue Water Day. To build enthusiasm among customer-facing staff and drive broad participation, RBC partnered with TemboSocial and used its QuizPolls and hosted social engagement tools to deliver accessible, educational content.

TemboSocial deployed interactive QuizPolls that gave instant feedback and built momentum with reporting by location and business unit. The campaign drove 10,000 employees on day one, over 30,000 participants in a two-week period (nearly 40% of employees), a 96% quiz completion rate among participants, and—since 2008—more than 150,000 employees and customers reached; external versions (e.g., National Geographic) achieved 48,554 responses with a 73% completion rate and 61% CTR, demonstrating TemboSocial’s measurable lift in engagement.
