TD Bank (TD Canada Trust) faced the challenge of engaging and connecting 45,000 employees across 1,100 branches and support offices, and their existing reward program wasn’t capturing or amplifying the everyday behaviors that drive customer satisfaction. TemboSocial implemented WOW Moments to aggregate peer-to-peer praise into a searchable Gallery, tag stories by corporate value, and surface recognition across profiles and news feeds; the program shifted TD from nomination-based awards to continuous social recognition. The result: strong employee participation (more than 300,000 WOW Moments sent since 2009), increased visibility of desired behaviors, easier identification of peer-validated skills, and deeper alignment with TD’s customer-focused culture.
