Chile’s Agricultural Ministry launches offline-first PrediApp with Telos Labs, reaching 1,800+ assessments

Telos Labs partnered with Chile's Agricultural Ministry to address the challenge of promoting sustainable agriculture in remote areas with limited internet connectivity. The ministry needed a platform that would allow technicians to perform farmland diagnostics offline and sync the data later.

The solution implemented by Telos Labs was PrediApp, a progressive web app built with Ruby on Rails. It features an offline assessment form that syncs to the cloud when a connection is available and generates reports to suggest sustainable practices. Since its 2022 release, the app has been used to complete over 1,800 assessments and was highlighted as a success story by the FAO, providing valuable insights for regenerating Chile's agricultural land.
