McGough, a family-owned construction firm, faced network challenges when building their new modern headquarters, which combined a renovated historical building with new construction. Tellabs implemented a Passive Optical LAN (POL) solution using a centralized Tellabs 1134 OLT and Tellabs 180C ONTs. This provided a clean, efficient network with fiber cabling that supported long distances and high bandwidth. The solution enabled a rapid, one-week network deployment, simplified centralized management, and ensured a low-disruption path for future technology upgrades.
