Case Study: Coastline Church achieves flexible, secure network connectivity with Tellabs Optical LAN

Coastline Church extends network across 7 acres with Tellabs

Coastline Church, located on a large multi-use property in California, faced challenges in delivering high-performance wired and wireless connectivity across its expansive indoor and outdoor spaces. Their limited IT staff needed a secure and reliable network to support daily events for over 700 people. They selected Tellabs to implement a Passive Optical LAN solution built around the Tellabs FlexSym OLT-mini.

The solution from Tellabs provided extended reach across the seven-acre campus, robust security through its fiber infrastructure, and operational efficiencies that minimized the need for IT staff intervention. The Tellabs Optical LAN system ensured reliable connectivity for both indoor and outdoor events, enhanced cybersecurity with a reduced attack surface, and created a self-healing network that required minimal ongoing maintenance.
