Gannet Guard Systems finds 95% of stolen vehicles in hours with Telit

Gannet Guard Systems, a security company based in Poland, faced the challenge of recovering stolen vehicles and high-value mobile assets, as thieves often disable standard GPS and cellular trackers by jamming signals, disconnecting batteries, or hiding assets in areas with no signal. To overcome this, they partnered with vendor Telit to enhance their GanTrack solution.

The solution implemented by Telit included the GL865 DUAL V3 GSM/GPRS module and JF2 GPS module, which provided broad coverage, an ultra-compact form factor for concealment, and highly accurate location data. This combination of hardware and management services from Telit allowed Gannet's system to leverage GSM, GPS, and proprietary VHF technology. The results were a 95% recovery rate, with assets typically located in under 24 hours, while also significantly lowering tracking costs for the customer.
