The customer, Elsight, faced the challenge of providing a fail-safe and reliable communication system for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone deliveries, which required uninterrupted connectivity even in remote areas. To solve this, Elsight partnered with the vendor Telit to integrate reliable modems and SIM connectivity services into their Halo platform.

Telit provided Elsight with LTE and 5G IoT modules along with connectivity management tools. This solution enabled the Halo system to maintain absolute connection confidence, resulting in 0% downtime for their customers. This high level of reliability was critical for gaining regulatory certification for commercial BVLOS drone operations.
