Integrated dashboard cameras transform safety at P&B Transportation, Inc.

P&B Transportation, Inc., a 45-truck fleet based in Apollo, PA, faced the challenge of improving driver safety, coaching and claims handling while consolidating fleet data. In early 2018 they piloted Teletrac Navman’s Driver Safety Analytics and Dashboard Camera solution on a quarter of their trucks and quickly decided to roll it out fleet-wide.

By integrating dashboard cameras with their existing DIRECTOR® ELD platform, P&B gained single-view access to HOS, GPS and safety data, enabling targeted, real-time driver coaching and boosting morale as supervisors could more accurately recognize strong defensive driving. The cameras also sped up and simplified insurance claims (and are expected to lower premiums), while safety analytics reshaped driver reviews and reward programs—delivering clear operational efficiencies and stronger fleet safety.
