Turner Studios, the Atlanta-based production arm of Turner Entertainment Networks, produces thousands of hours of live and post-produced content for TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network, TCM and Turner Sports and supports virtually every camera and delivery format (from broadcast to mobile). High-volume, format-diverse workflows and a legacy “watch-folder” approach left the team managing thousands of discrete transcoding profiles and many different vendor tools, making content preparation, QC and delivery increasingly complex—especially ahead of large events like the NCAA tournament.

Turner migrated much of its transcoding and automation to Telestream Vantage, using its analysis-driven workflow engine to consolidate jobs, repurpose existing Agility nodes and automate QC, loudness correction and multi-format delivery. The move reduced thousands of Agility workflows to hundreds, put roughly 75% of processing under Vantage control, enabled rapid, automated delivery of 200+ promos during March Madness, and simplified editorial operations and ongoing feature development through tighter vendor partnership and faster release cycles.
