Telestream Vantage supported Simple DCP and SXSW in moving the 2021 film festival online, tackling a massive media-management challenge: handling niche DCP theatrical formats, coordinating remote review via iconik, and processing hundreds of assets (including late-arriving ads) that required multiple versions, watermarks, and precise assembly under a tight deadline.

The team used Vantage as both a transcoder and workflow orchestration engine, adding Vantage Cloud Port for scalable cloud encoding and Vantage Actions to integrate iconik and other tools. Automated workflows assembled intros/ads/outros, embedded captions and watermarks, and transcoded 100+ assets in parallel, enabling on-time delivery to the CDN and proving the solution’s flexibility and scalability.
