Shiloh Ministries Broadcasts the Word with Wirecast

Shiloh Ministries, a non-denominational church in Mercer, PA, needed a cost-effective, easy-to-run way to broadcast sermons to a global audience while producing polished HD video for two large sanctuary screens. The challenge was to switch between multiple cameras, display close-ups, lyrics, scripture and announcements, and let volunteers operate the system without heavy technical training.

They implemented Telestream Wirecast Pro with Desktop Presenter on a Mac-based setup (Mac Pro and iMac), four Canon HD cameras with Blackmagic capture/converters, a Yamaha mixer and two 60" monitors. A single technical director now mixes multi-camera live video, on-screen graphics and internet-sourced media and streams automatically to Ustream; the result is professional HD presentations in the sanctuary and live/on-demand access worldwide.
